It is similar to going to the gym, learning to cook, or completing a course. The more dedicated you are, and the more you work at it, the better you will become. To receive all the benefits that mindfulness offers, it requires habitual practice. The more you do it, the more you will sink into the stillness of your SOUL.The active mind will constantly try to fill the empty silence with to-do lists, regrets, conversations on replay and anything else that distracts and engages you.
